HipstaPaks FIRST FRIDAY - Zürich HipstaPak...

My first impressions are that, for once in many months, Hipstamatic has launched a useful pak. To my taste, Andre lens gives a nice color shift to all color films, besides working fine with the b&w ones. BK1942 pairs beautifully with virtually all lenses, including old and odd ones like Chunky...

How can I retrieve combos ?

I save most of my edited stuff to Dropbox. When I bring an Hipstamatic edited image back to the Camera Roll and take it for further editing in Hipstamatic, the combo used is not displayed anymore: Is there any means for retrieving the information about the used combo ?

HipstaPaks FIRST FRIDAY - Cape Town HipstaPak

This time I just cannot see any reason to buy the pak. It’s not really bad, but has nothing to add to our already big collection.

    Still buggy Neville

It’s been a fair amount of time since the release of Brisbane Hipstapak; since then we have seen several Hipstamatic and iOS updates, I (and certainly many other users) have made complaints to the Tech Support, and yet that annoying Neville lens bug remains- ugly, weird and unwanted color spots...

HipstaPaks Bucktown HipstaPak - First Friday, March...

A pak which emulates traditional b&w infrared film was in my wish list for a long time. Unlike its color counterparts (Alfred and LouisXIV), for which I couldn't find any use as yet, BkIR seems to have potential for several kinds of photography, including experimental work. Black skies and white...

    ~influx~

I live in a place where ice formations are just beyond immediate consideration, so I think of these mysterious, moody images as of some biological event, like a birth or morphing of some strange creature... which seems about to appear in next frames. Beautiful work, RoseCat!

Dreamy film produces weird edges on save

Well, maybe something happened to ameliorate the problem, but fact is I coudn't make a clearly visible example of black specks produced by Neville lens. Nevertheless, alien tiny specks are there. You can see them near to the right inferior border if the white petal, better seen upon enlarging...

Dreamy film produces weird edges on save

Neville lens shows those spots with several, if not all color films, including the new Pearl. Neville/Pearl. White areas full of color spots. With at least some b&w films, it shows weird black spots, also over white areas. I'll try to get some example image.

Dreamy film produces weird edges on save

Same here. I reported the Neville issue months ago. Allan said he transfered the problem to the Hipsta developer. After so much time without fixing that issue, I conclude that they must have other priorities.

Neville/Otto. The sky areas are full of tiny color artifacts.

Neville film has also those color spots. I'll try to find or produce some example to post.

    WALKIES

Isn't that you, Carol?? How nice to meet you here and see that, with a few old apps, you've managed to develop a bold, beautiful and highly personal style - with which you've been building a wonderful body of work. Big hug for you!

    B&W RESULT: #04 Black & White Challenge

Monochrome versions allow (or make) the viewer to imagine colors, like terse did. In this case, as in many other, that mental image will certainly be richer than the boring original colors.

Thanks, zenjenny. Yes, those clouds means not immediate rain, but sign for a forthcoming rain season. At least that's what we hope.
