I've been having lots of fun with Diana Photo, too. It's surprising how often it tosses up something interesting that I then start fooling with in other apps. I still don't have the knack for visualizing something from scratch, but I'm getting better at recognizing interesting things in an image when I see it (like in a combo from Diana, I mean).

Nice! I'm with Ted on the 'a bit' out of reality - I'd say they both qualify most resoundingly as abstracts, Mel - so no further correspondence will be entered into about you contributing to the LoA challenge, okay?

It is definitely something that doesn't come easy for me.

I think the "Play Factor" is very important when doing abstracts. If you have a concept at the start it can cut you off from the magic of the unexpected. For me abstraction is mining the unknown, not the known.
