Thank you!Beautiful!
Lovely rich autumn palette
Both. I don’t really know why. I’ve always preferred autumn.Lovely rich autumn palette
PS I thought Americans called it ‘fall’
Thank you! You’re correct, we do call if fall but autumn seemed more fitting for this picture, to meLovely rich autumn palette

You started me thinking about when I use fall and when autumn. I think maybe it's an unconscious mood thing. For me, fall conjures up bright, colorful days, walking through fallen leaves in the crisp air and taking photos. Autumn is still colorful but more muted, hazy/foggy days, overcast skies, more time spent cozied up inside.Thank you! Somehow I missed this one Jodi. Beautiful shot and treatment -- just dreamy enough.

More poetic word than ’fall’ when it comes to describing elements of the season? Certainly looks more beautiful on the page.Both. I don’t really know why. I’ve always preferred autumn.
I think so. Fall is so flat.More poetic word than ’fall’ when it comes to describing elements of the season? Certainly looks more beautiful on the page.
"Spring forward, autumn back" doesn't work so well, though.I think so. Fall is so flat.
With any luck we won’t have to do that anymore."Spring forward, autumn back" doesn't work so well, though.
