Boterflye Judging

I did another photo in my butterfly series & wanted to get some MobiOpinions.

I liked the first one, uploaded it everywhere, looked at it some more, and then decided I wasn't sure if I cared for the colors. So I reworked it with more subdued tones, which I really do like.

What do you all think?

My wife and I both chose the bright one. Although both are great. I think there is a tendency in the iPhoneography world to go with subdued and muted tones. I say rebel against this and let the colour shine through.

Thanks for your feedback! I agree with you about bright colors (see the butterfly piece entitled "Winged Vertebrae"), but I think that I wasn't sure about the orange/yellow/green combo. Maybe I'll try to change the colors to a different 3... I actually think I'm probably obsessing about this piece a little too much. LOL.

I like the first one too, lovely bright colours!
