In this tutorial I use a variety of apps to create an aged/textured surrealist piece.
Apps list:
icolorama
juxtaposer
decim8
photowizard
filtermania
image blender
scratchcam
I loaded the original image into icolorama and used the 2nd deforms setting to create the "warp" in the TV. Then to add some texture I put it through the 1st sketch setting.
I then loaded the image into Juxtaposer (my appologies for not having screen shots of this step). The background was made in paintfx by "painting" over a photo using vintage gray.
Next stop was decim8 where I used my favourite precog1 FX to create the above version.
To create some more texture I loaded the decim8 version into photowizard. where I applied 3 different texturize filters and some light bloom. Texture and ratios can be seen above.
Next step was to dip it in chocolate via filtermania.
I wanted the chocolate to seem to drip off the top of the TV so next step was to take the post-filtermania version (foreground) and the pre-filtermania version (background) into image blender for some masking. Blending was left in normal mode and opacity was set to favour the post-filtermania version.
Then I popped into scratchcam to add a bit more grunge
All that is left to do is lick the rest of the chocolate off your fingers your done!
