Yes, the Nene has burst its banks. The Willowbrook, just down our lane, has lowered, but I think that‘s because it drains into the Nene. Oundle looks like an island at the moment.

I think they add to it, especially in woodsy landscapes like this one. "Landscape with dog" should be a category of its own.

Sounds very sporadic. Some have had heavy snow, others like us just a drop......others still like yourself, very little. Gone are the days of snow in January till March like I remember in Newcastle in the 60’s/70’s.
We had snowflakes but just a light dusting.
