Mobi52 Deepop’s Project 52 - 2020

Week 11/52
I think i only took 2 actual photos this week, neither particularly rewarding. I did do a lot of FotoDa, however.
Here's some, collaged in PicsArt and edited slightly in Hipstamatic

Week 12/52
This week we started sheltering in place in Cleveland, which was kind of nice in that we were shopped and cooked for. In return we spent a lot of time with the boys. Four to 5 times a week we went to various Cleveland Metroparks, a very nice series of parks. We always chose ones that had flowing water because the boys (in any temperature) can spend hours throwing stones and sticks into the water. 90% of the next 3 weeks of photos involves that activity.
Because there was always flowing water, I played around with Spectre

All the rivers/creeks/streams in this area have fantastic shale beds with hundreds of perfect skipping stones

Shale so soft you can crumble it with your hand.

What lovely outings! I really like the natural abstracts.

Those are some great images. How are you liking Spectre? Is it worth the 2.99???
If you want to do long exposure shots of water, etc., it's worth the money. Its exposures are 3, 5, or 9 seconds, so it's not a substitute for Slow Shutter Cam, which offers a much wider range, but its ability to keep the static parts of an image sharp while handheld is impressive.

Week 15/52
I only took 4 photos all week. This is the best of the lot, taken on a dusk walk. The building is part of a complex of the Clarke School for the Deaf was founded in 1867 in Northampton, as the first permanent oral (meaning no sign language) school for the deaf in the United States. The campus was sold several years ago and has been converted into apartments and condos.
