This is a really lovely still life, Jeffrey!

By the way, have you ever heard of Art in Bloom? I believe different cities/museums have their own version but what it basically amounts to is that a floral designer picks an image then interprets it in flowers. The cool thing is that the images are not necessarily of flowers. It is amazing to see the floral designs that are created. Where I'm going with this is that I think it would be cool for Dawn, in her spare time, to interpret one of your images!

Thank you Lisa! I looked it up :) This looks fascinating. I will definitely enroll Dawn in this. There are even lots of Facebook pages, some as far away as Bangalore, India! Thank you for the tip

Dawn was hired to provide decorations and arrangements for our “Keep Carroll Beautiful” who have their annual fundraising auction. She is doing a recycled theme, hence the cans in recently posted images, and these pine cones are going to be a part of the overall scene. She assured me they will look different on the day...

I’m learning so many new things. These will be trees...

Oooh, could we see the end results pleeeeeeease?:) I’ve seen a tutorial where someone covers tin cans with tartan material and then puts an floritst’s oasis inside and puts in twigs and branches and stuff. Very effective and a great way to use an empty can.

Yes. I will continue to post more pieces as the project develops :)
