I noticed that the wall was getting hot around the intake and also down by the floor. Fortunately we are able to keep the temperature around 60F overnight. The event was a huge success and Dawn has three enquiries to process :D
So. Taking down the pipe to the vent I came up with this idea. I placed the exhaust pipe on the kitchen counter as the light was pretty good. Opened up the tube so that I could get my arm in there to place the creature. Placed two LumeCubes: one with a white diffuser and one with a yellow, so that I got the light drop out from the head and arm. I the processed the image in Rays to extend the, eh, rays, cropped in Snapseed and viola! :)

Chromatica, Snapseed
Posting this in case I have missed any of my weeks. Kinda like a deposit for later ;) Well. That and a slow Monday...

I had some Amazon points saved up and decided to buy a light box. Having always assembled my own I didn’t know what to expect. The model I purchased is really good quality, has good, even light, and four different backdrops.
This is one of the first images using the white backdrop.

I received an invite yesterday for the new beta of Chromatica. So far I like it :thumbs: :) It has been very stable. They broke out the portrait mode from the 1x/2x slider. I'm sure there are lots of other things going on in the background I take for granted ;)

Have you been reading my mind again? I was just thinking that we hadn’t had one of your amazing still lifes for ages (well, it seems like ages to me) and here’s a gorgeous one. I’m still missing some of Dawn’s wonderful flower arrangements though. :rolleyes: Just saying.

Thanks Jill. It's been a period of drought, flower wise. It's about to pick up though as October, November, December is the "feast" quarter as far as weddings and events are concerned in Georgia. We had a string of 40+C days which make the outdoor events uncomfortable. Not to mention deadly for flowers ;)
