I might have to get it simply because of "Neko chan"!!! That's "Cat" in Japanese, and a friend of mine always calls me Neko chan.

The color rendition is not bad in this pak - I would need to know if I could disable the frame edge affect before buying though ?

Yes Chris, you can remove the frame edge thingy. It’s actually attached to the film, so if you go into the section where you can edit the lens, film etc, there’s a double square when you edit the film. If you tap on that, the edge disappears. See below:

I like this lens!

The film is kind of interesting to look at, though I'm not sure I want it anywhere near my winter photos.

All in all, this seems like a pretty nice and well thought-out pak. Maybe the new subscription app, and what appears to have been a recent bout of soul-searching, has had a reinvigorating effect. I hope so! The mobile photography realm would be a less quirky and colorful space without Hipstamatic, epic follies and all.
