Full Flow

Remembering comments from last year, I did look at both the regular shot and the long exposure shot, and for Me this was my favourite.
iphone 11, Live Photo (moved to long exposure), snapseed to touch up photo with a vignette added.

15th May

Out for an explore, wanting to see how the snow melt is going. Visited our favoured lake... the clouds made for an interesting sky, so I decided B&W was the way to go for this shot.

iphone 11, Blackie app.

came across the remnants of an avalanche which completely blocked the road. The 43 point turning in the road was ‘interesting’, the drop from there was ‘gripping’

‘A Spot of Lunch’ 90 minutes into our drive and found a perfect spot before heading further in.

(an exploratory drive in the bush with Lorraine to see if Gray Creek Pass was drivable yet... it wasn’t... hit snow on a gnarly stretch of track, which necessitated a ‘43 point turn’ with consequences... but with my able assistant we cracked it out and headed back down.)

27 June

The Sentinel

- the light has been relit.

It’s been awhile - not a fabulous image, but for me a momentous occasion, and I wanted to capture the moment... the restaurant at the ski hill reopened for dinner... full precautions being taken by the staff, but such a treat to head down and have a nice meal. (& headed home just before the mother of all storms hit.)

Who could have predicted that going out for a meal would be such a momentous occasion? What times we are living in. This must be an amazing place to stay in the winter.

First weekend of the year camping with ‘Dave’ the camper van... it was tremendous out there, by the river, sounds of nature all around, and nature’s TV (campfire) providing all the entertainment... as well as the odd crossword and a few beers :)

I said to Lorraine I was off exploring and found a stream on the way to Baynes Lake

She said

“Wear the fox hat” :lmao:
