Hi Everyone. Happy New Year!

I'm excited to join Mobitog. I found you in 2021 and lurked a bit but finally decided to join today. You seem like a friendly, supportive group and I'm looking forward to sharing, learning, and making new friends.

I live in Needham, MA and I recently retired so I've got some time on my hands. I shoot for fun with my iPhone 12 Pro Max, mostly outdoor, family, general life, and travel photography. I use Snapseed for editing. I also like to paint my photos mostly using iColorama.

I have been taking digital photos since 2001. But in 2021 I made the commitment to only shoot with my iPhone. With more time on my hands I also decided to try a 365 Challenge in 2022 (my first). I'm looking to improve my photographic eye.

I mostly share on Flickr. You can see my shared photos at https://www.flickr.com/photos/jpankin.

This site is rich with resources and I'll need some time to get comfortable. Right now I'm going to attempt to set up my 365 folder.

Welcome to Mobitog! You picked the perfect time and place to jump into a 365 challenge. Don't worry too much about getting the hang of the site, we’re an easy bunch to get along with.

Glad you have finally joined us. Nice Flickr pics. It’s a very positive forum with lots of humour so I’m sure you will enjoy it.

Greetings from California and welcome to MobiTog, Jeff. Be sure to check out the regular MobiColour challenge (usually themed) and B/W challenge (never themed) where a lot of the new work appears. I salute your courage in tackling a 365 :eek:

An exclusive MobiMembers-only section. Feel free to discuss things with other members - and find out about Top Secret stuff not for public consumption!

Important note: Please remember that only images originated on a mobile device (iOS or Android) can be posted to this community. No pictures created on a DSLR or compact camera are allowed.

Handy Tip: At the top of the site you'll see "New Posts", and clicking/tapping on it will take you to all the unread new posts that occurred since your last visit. Note: If there's just too many there to deal with, and you're really anal like me you can go up to the top and select "Mark Discussions Read" - and choose just a specific area to 'clear out', for example App Discussions, or choose all discussions which will clear everything and allow you to sort of 'start fresh'. That way the next time you go into New Posts, there will just be the most recent posts since you "erased" everything.

Also when you hover over your username in the very top right, you have an option to choose "Ignore New Posts", and select any forums/discussions that you DON'T want to show up.

Thanks Venomator. Everyone has been very friendly and helpful. I’m trying to research or stumble onto answers to my questions before asking for help. There’s a lot here but it’s fun to explore.
