Having Trouble with your iPhone's Home Button...

Check this little procedure out...

Found this tip in comment here: http://www.tipb.com/2011/01/04/tipb-bug-home-button-working-iphone/

1.) Open any application
2.) Press and hold the power button until the slide to shutdown swipe bar appears.
3.) Release Power button
4.) Press and hold Home button Lightly
until screen returns to icon screen
5.) Enjoy your functioning home button!!!
This procedure recalibrates the home button after normal wear or heavy use.

It worked first time for me...

I have an iPhone 4 too Catherine and it does work fine...

If I were you, I would close all of your apps, do a re-boot of your iPhone - hold down the Power and Home buttons together, wait until the slider disappears and keep holding until the Apple logo reappears, should be about 10 seconds or so... then open a singe app and try the process again...

Hope it works but do let us know how it goes...
