• Hey Guest!

Nominations for the November Image of the Month (IotM) close at the end of the day on November 30. Get your four nominations in now before it's too late. It's the People's Choice!

RESULT Hipstamatic Magic #3

Okay, you can also rename your combos — cooler and cooler !
Right, I can see that working. It’s true there isn’t much space to write a descriptive title. Usually it is more a situation in which the combo worked well, like Overcast Snowy Woods or Sunny Beach. That will be meaningful to me because I remember the situation and the associated conditions. If you find a combo the works well in Sunny Woods, which is a very particular and difficult lighting situation, then it is very useful to be able to find it again.

Edit: I completely misread your message. I thought you meant renaming a combo “Cooler” and then another one “Cooler and Cooler” and couldn’t picture that as being useful.

Performance art: from three years ago. I think it’s been through Diana or Dubble at some point. Her very maidenly dress is like a Roman blind - she holds the strings and chirps on her whistle until someone puts money in her little pot. Then she pulls the strings and up comes the skirt to reveal white stockings and suspenders (and granny knickers to keep it all SFW) for a few moments — then down comes the blind. Needless to say her little pot was quite full and there were a dozen gormless youths with their skateboards upended, staring open-mouthed for the whole of the performance

I wish I’d cropped the image differently. Not sure either Pak do much for it. But it’s a nice memory :)

.

Sounds like you’d be better off with a coding system on an excel sheet.

I L:hearteyes:VE this image.... both versions. These should be entered in a contest. So surreal and weirdly beautiful. :inlove::notworthy::inlove:

I was surprised to discover I actually have the Fashion Pak but I don’t have the Mono Pak and it doesn’t appear on the list of paks when I search for it at the HipstaMart.
I was wondering, do most people leave their packs as originally made? I tend to fiddle with my paks until I get something I think works ok and then rename it with a more descriptive name.[/QUOTE

i rename them if I keep them as a favorite, usually adding a flash, some clarity, etc.

Now there’s something you don’t see every day! I never would have guessed the performance art aspect without your description. Must have been great.

 How do you feel about hogs?

My dad likes them well done. I don't eat them. I liked to play with baby pigs when I had the opportunity, but cleaning up their mess was never my favour. I rather did the cow stable 5 times instead of once the swine. :D
But pigs are cute when treated as alive creatures and not like objects to grow meat. :)

Yes, pigs are super intelligent too. I love them - well, that goes for all animals actually, but I digress. What I meant was, that’s a stuffed hog in the window, not a bear. Although, once you’d mentioned it, I can see the bear resemblance.
