RESULT Hipstamatic Magic Challenge #2

Are you a Hipstamatic Wiz?

The Main Rule is simple:

1) The only apps that may be used in this Challenge are either an ordinary phone camera (i.e. with no effects) and/or Hipstamatic depending on what the winner decides.

The actual Hipstamatic Challenge will be decided by the winner.

Here are some possibilities :
1. A plain photograph changed with a specified Lens, Film, Flash (or a limited list) or the photo taken with a set Lens, Film, Flash
2. Multiple Exposures (your own combo, a specific combo, or manipulated afterwards)
3. A shake and bake only or with additional Hipsta editing afterwards. In other words you have to shake and use whatever pops up.
4. Any other clever variation which adheres to the Main Rule.

Last entries before midnight UK time on Saturday 3rd February 2019. Judging will take place on Sunday 4th February 2019 or soon thereafter.

CHALLENGE:
Theme for this week is to use the Double Exposure in Hipstamatic. Any which way you like!

Okay, I’m gonna get this started. I LOVE Double or Multiple Exposure. Walked into Woking and snapped like crazy. Such fun. I’ll try and not totally flood this thread.

I think this one was my favourite. I went into a coffee shop and they had this painting on the wall behind the hat and coat stand. It was very pale and I knew I needed a dark contrast so I photographed my black glove for the second exposure.

Taken with Hannah Lens + Otto Film and then the following applied

Next, I took the unprocessed result of the Hipstamatic DE and applied Emilio Lens, Delaunay 1941 Film and Dreampop Flash

With this one, I couldn’t remember if I started with the original DE or with the Hannah lens + Otto film version.

At work so not a lot of subject matter... I used Hipsta’s DE function then edited that.

Is the idea to take the DE in Hipstamatic?

Yes, but I know you only have Hipstamatic on your iPad so I’m sure for Android only users we can allow another DE camera providing it doesn’t apply effects. Also, do you have one where you can’t see what the first image will be because this is what makes Hipstamatic more difficult. You don’t know what you are going to get until both images have been taken.

I was intrigued by this combo because I know Neville and Aristotle to give a BW effect. So just by turning up the vibrancy you get colour! This doesn’t tend to happen with other BW combos.

I cheated cause it’s the middle of the night, I’m at home awake and was bored. I took pics of the Apple TV stock images scrolling on my tv.

This is a swimming fish topped with a sunset. I shook to randomize on both and had the flash on. I can’t quite decide why I like it, I just do.

Wish it would give you the combo of the first layer too.
