Not quite sure what animal this came from. When Rog lifted it up, the teeth were underneath.
Now someone got interested. DH gets all excited when we find skulls and other remains on our walks :) He has no idea of what this is, but he's made several guesses: huge rat, weasel or something similar to a weasel. What's the size of the skull?

I went for a walk with our neighbours and this little fellow landed in front of us. I had to look him up on t’Internet. He’s a Speckled Wood butterfly.

Gunnera - a South American plant with large leaves. These line the drive of Bayfield Hall in Norfolk. They’re only small now, but the grow to about ten feet and you can stand under the enormous leaves. We had a drive out to Norfolk to visit a plant centre that sells wild flowers - we needed some for the pond.

The first, vaguely normal, thing we’ve done for ages - a visit to a local cafe where our friend is the chef.

Then we went for a walk. This is the railway carriage in the middle of a wood near us. Bluristic (Negative).

Love the “double framing” of the sheep, separating our star in the foreground from the others in the background.

I see a strange mystical creature coming up from the ground with his arms raised :)

It’s raining heavily today (great for filling up our new pond!), and I noticed a pigeon just sitting about in it. I took this through the kitchen doors (‘cos I’m not going out in this weather!). The blur is from the raindrops on the door.
