This is Poppy. Our new neighbours (in Woodnewton) are self-isolating because their son-in-law has the virus and, until the day they moved (and when he was diagnosed), they were all living in the same house. Because they can’t now walk poppy until their quarantine is over, I have volunteered.

Found screwed to a tree on our walk. I have no idea what this could mean.

I guess you’re quite satisfied with the Poppy arrangement :inlove: And a very interesting name on the last one. I checked the name Eusebius and there was a pope with that name very long ago:)

Yes, all the fun of walking a dog without the other responsibilities! Ooooh and thanks for the info on Eusebius. I’m going to check to see if Herapath is a local surname.

What a great name. Our resident IT specialist is named Pyrus Augustus, I thought that took some beating!

My last walk with Poppy. Her owners will be out of self-isolation tomorrow. I know this looks like the same photo as one above, but she does this a lot!

And a shadow selfie with some of the lovely stone houses of Woodnewton. They have huuuuuuge gardens that go down to the river (which runs by the bushes and the fence).
