Oh how I hate the Rubik's cube. Evil indeed. I can't imagine ever figuring that damn thing out...I've tried, albeit briefly. But it makes a nice little retro decorative object.

Thanks Lisa and indeed they are forms. The restaurant is in Northamptonshire, and the county town is renowned for shoemaking. The football team is called The Cobblers (and that’s generally how they play ).

Great job with the layering of colour & texture — you’ve kept all that wonderful sparkling light, and the gorgeous shadow with the curling light our David pointed out in the B&W . Really *alive* still life - hope you posted it in the MC thread
