MobiColour MCC #270 Theme: Doorways

So many intriguing images... I suggest everyone scroll through the entire lot again just to appreciate the work. I just got a new hi-res 24" monitor for my desktop setup, so I opened all 59 images in tabs to start with. There were so many good images that on another day I might well have come up with different results. Congrats to everyone who pitched in on this one.

First goes to Geek1956 for "Inner city" which has pretty much everything you could ask for: beautiful color, good execution, and lots of interesting stuff to look at.

Second is a tie between:

The Great Garbanzo for "Waiting" which gives us a door that we can't see but is distinctly present, along with a solid dose of shaggy emotion

and sinnerjohn for "Carriage door" which is one of the few images to include people AND a story.

And third goes to WOTANICUS who dared to go it alone in taking the metaphorical path with "Deaths Daw."

I could award HMs to everyone else, but two that deserve special mention are deepop for the massive "Pantheon door" and rvilhena for "A painting done by younger son."

Congrats Kevin Geek1956 for the door of doors!
Many thanks Ted for letting me squeeze onto the silver podium with The Great Garbanzo and nice interpretation Bill WOTANICUS.
