2nd December - Autumn Scene

I took one of the images from a couple of weeks ago and converted into an oil painting using the Deep art effects and Impresso pro

4th December - Misty Day

Today’s doggy walk in the woods was quite atmospheric. We woke up to a misty day and by the time we got to the woods the mist was rising giving it a weird effect through the lens. I edited it in Snapseed LumaClip apps to highlight the mistiness.

Thats a lovely edit of a magical scene

7th December - Farmhouse

Another edited image using Impresso Pro. This farmhouse is just outside one of the Belvoir villages and is typical of the building materials Lincolnshire ironstone which is yellow in colour.

8th December - Santa and Reindeer Farmhouse Style

The local farmers seem to be having a bit of a competition amongst themselves to produce Christmas characters made from hay bales. This one was one of the most bizarre to say the least!
Finally made it back on to complete the year’s photos. Had some health issues so not been feeling up to taking photos or even uploading them

9th December - Woolsthorpe by Belvoir

One of my favourite views along the canal and today it was a beautiful calm bright winter’s day with the blue sky reflecting on the water and producing some lovely reflections.

10th December - Knitting Banksy Strikes Again

After Remembrance Day, Knitting Banksy has struck again with Christmas designs for the postboxes. This was my favourite one. Many of the locals know who the mysterious knitter is but they have been sworn not to tell!

11th December - Late Afternoon Walk

Today we went for a late afternoon walk as the sun was going down. Sadly some of my images weren’t very clear as the sun’s rays clipped the photo, but I liked the effect it gave.

15th December - Product Advert
I was asked by a friend to create an image to help her try and sell her necklace And this is what I came up. It was a pretty gold swan pendant which she was selling on an auction site.

Oh no, you haven’t been well? I wondered where you were. Out enjoying your motorhome is what I thought. Do you have it yet?

lovely! although the twist in the chain irks me, the gold accents on the rose leaves make for a fab image!

17th December - Lock Gates

This is one of the new sets of lock gates on the Grantham Canal. We watched these being installed earlier this year with cranes, but the original ones were fitted by hand. Heaven only knows how it was done.

18th December - Christmas is coming
This crockery set - we have the whole set - belonged to my mother-in-law who proudly produced this out of her cupboards each year. Not my preference, but we do use it on Christmas Day in her memory.

19th December - Winter’s Morning

Went out for an early morning walk today along the canal near Hickling. The sun was very bright and low. In the sky which didn’t give me a good sky but the reflections of the clouds in the water and on the swans were good
