There are tutorials built into the app. First time you open it has interactive tutorials (at least in the iPad version) and create project.

Both iPhone and iPad versions are on sale. $4.99 for iPad and $2.99 for iPhone. iPad version is normally $9.99, $4.99 for iPhone. How long I have no idea so don't ponder it too long. I've been waiting for a sale for over a year so I bought the iPad version.
