The latest release of BeCasso has a revamped pencil effect. I applied it to my tree photo in this week's MobiColour ( https://mobitog.com/threads/new-mc-182-theme-no-theme-july-22-28-2019.23877/post-427182) using the default settings and got this (with no other edits beyond reducing the size to upload):

Light & shadow & action . . . Oh my . . ,

It border on the abstract except for the people (all bearing the obligatory phone ! ) . . .

A magnificent study in the shade of greys . . .

#3 - Stephen Lang ( aka Coronation80)

Except for the clothing it might a band from the bushman Paleolithic . . .

Well you did marvellously John. A lovely piece of judging. Congratulations to Sandra - another of your marvellously composed black and whites. Well done terse Ted for your second - I love that edit. Who knew that Becasso was capable of such refined editing (you, obvs). And hugs to Coronation80 Stephen - I laughed when I saw John’s allusion to the paleolithic man thingy. It absolutely does look like that - a great image. I see that RoseCat Catherine has picked up my considerable slack and put Sandra’s image in the Gallery. Thank you so much for that my dear.
