Nah, they were waterproof boots, just not quite tall enough for that particular wave, so I ended up with wet socks. I figure the egret deserved a chuckle for being so cooperative.Suffering for your art Ted? I hope they weren’t your best shoes.

Thank you. It was only edited, applying the smoothing Coherence filter in iColorama and then masking out the rocks so that they stayed sharper.

Thank you. Great work! I only use Snapssed and Lightroom for editing, bur iColorama seems promissing. I'll have go.
iColorama is a quirky app, full of surprises and easy to get lost in. I think the best approach is just to poke at things and say "What does that do?" The Styles menu (where you'll find Coherence) is a good place to start.
For most editing, I use Lightroom and Snapseed just like you, along with ACDSee Pro (for adjusting light/tones/color) and the Apple Photos app (which has improved steadily). I used to do b/w conversions in ACDSee Pro, but now I mainly use Photos for that.
Do you shoot with Lightroom also? I find that its HDR cam produces excellent results.
