Irises

Something from just before lockdown. Ahhh, those were the days.
Snapseed

what sort of irises are these? I have wild iris in blue/purple and white like this:

Righty-ho. I think there’s enough images here for TomHH to get his teeth into. This challenge is now CLOSED. Over to you Tom for a bit of judging.

Okay, then let's go!

It's hard this time for me. There are more than just 3 shots to mention. But first things first:

First:
rizole Rizole with 'Alternative electriq'
20200723_170534-01-jpeg.159334

The mood of this image is just amazing. The sky with dark clouds and then the sun trying to get through, the three giants of generators in contradiction to the smooth hills.

Number two:
JillyG Jilly's flowers 'Lilies'
9ce1e53b-df2e-4be4-b185-b1326acee309-jpeg.159161

Beautiful contrasts - sharp, unsharp and black, white. And the floating of the flowers in the darkness - very well done!

Number three:
terse Ted's 'Capitola wharf'
b6f074f6-fa01-4e83-a81f-a1a78d62faa6-jpeg.159230

This is the arts part in this contest! Perfect use on motion to MHO.

There are quite some more images to mention but I stick to the rules! :p

Thanks to everyone for sharing your work. Very inspiring work!

Those are three cracking images - difficult to order them so far as I am concerned. Congratulations to all three!

Thanks, Tom, I'm glad you liked that image -- I was pretty happy with it, especially that little swoop at the end. Congrats to rizole for the win :notworthy: and to JillyG for the second
