I LOVE the reflection in the wet sand!!!!!View attachment 183212
We starve,
Look at one another, short of breath
Walking proudly in our winter coats
If I'd been able to get closer, it would have made a great pic on its own, but if I'd tried to get closer, I wouldn't have had any egrets at allI LOVE the reflection in the wet sand!!!!!
Oh no, je ne egret rien. We don’t want that!If I'd been able to get closer, it would have made a great pic on its own, but if I'd tried to get closer, I wouldn't have had any egrets at all![]()

Probably my best infrared image from today although I processed the HEIC version rather than the RAW due to a mistake with my Camera+ settings. That pole in the middle is some sort of totem pole. Will have to read the splurb the next time I’m there.
Moment 58 zoom lens, Infrared lens, Camera+ Pro, Snapseed.
That would be something to seeView attachment 183023
Wings of Glory, Burning Man comes to Derbyshire.

Purely documentary, I can't take any credit for these incredible sculptures and in all honesty they probably look better in colour but I thought I'd give it a shot in b/w.
Thanks, Jen.Elizabeth Bennett and her sisters on a stroll.

Thank you David, lovely judging and you’ve chosen three wonderful images. Super congratulations to sinnerjohn John with his first place “One for the road”. I love the sheep with six legs!!This week looked like a lot of Mobitoggers were on summer vaction as there were only 23 images. Fortunately there was no drop off in quality, only quantity. All the photos were great this week. These were my favorites.
In the top spot is sinnerjohn and his pastoral “One for the road”. There’s something captivating about about the stare we’re getting from the main character (notwithstanding their use of lipstick and ?nosestick.) (Can someone have a Clara Bow nose?)

In second is ImageArt Ann and her infrared photo which appears to be two holy beings, emanating a glorious silver aura onto the trees, discussing celestial matters. (It helps to see that massive ?cell tower base as some sort of mysterious totem.)

And although it pains me to put this photo on the podium in third place (I am NOT a cat person!) terse Ted’s ”Contemplation “ is there. Virtually all negative space broken only by Hodge’s silver lining silhouette. Wonderful.

Ha ha and I support Derby County and they also have a certain unjustified nickname given to us by ForestWell done all. If there’s one thing I hate more than cats, it’s sheep. Any Englishman will know what that word ( sheep ) means to a Welsh man.
