Photographically, the problem with black cats is any dust, hair, dirt, dandruff, totally shows against their coats. I have to heal out all that almost every time
Yes. My DH wanted Django after Django Rheinhart, but when she turned out to be a girl it didn’t fit. Hard to tell in this photo that she’s nearly all-white, with occasionally albino-pink eyes. So ‘white spirit’ fits, but she’s such a lovely girl that the uglier histories of the word become moot.
Also, ‘Djanga’ is an abbreviation of her full name ‘Djangabanana’
