Funnily enough, Lzed Larry was talking about an app for low light in his 52 (at least I think it was thereThanks! I wasn’t thrilled with the grain but I made the shot at dusk so there was no way around it...
). But grain is good sometimes. In fact, Snapseed puts grain onto an image in some of its filters.

I just had to delete an image because PhotoShop Express put banding on it when I saved to my camera roll. It didn’t have banding when I was in the app.

It gets on my nerves too, I'm quite prepared to make a picture look unnatural but don't like the digital artefacts that arise out of the processing.
