Are you a Hipstamatic Wiz?

Wow, Hipstamatic can do that? This is a great place for discovery and to try new things and see what can be done and surprises that result. We love to see your attempts, whatever they might be. Ask a question and there’s always useful tips from the seasoned Hipstas that can take your images to the next level.

The Main Rule is simple:

1) The only apps that may be used in this Challenge are either an ordinary phone camera (i.e. with no effects) and Hipstamatic depending on what the winner decides.

The actual Hipstamatic Challenge will be decided by the winner...

The winner chooses 2 Hipstamatic Paks for the week. They can then decide on any restrictions but this is optional.

Last entries before midnight UK time on Saturday 22nd June 2019. Judging will take place on Sunday 23th June 2019 or soon thereafter.

Please also see the general Mobitog Rules HERE

WINNER: GroovyGouvy

CHALLENGE: Frosty lens & T. Roosevelt 26 film
(aka Rainy Gouvy Pak) or Salvador 84 lens & Louis XIV infrared film (aka Spooky Gouvy Pak);) :D

GroovyGouvy what pak(s) will you choose for us? :D
Does it have to be a pak or can I try with two lenses and two films hoping everybody has?

I took a photo today when it rained and thought it to be the perfect combination for a rainy day:
Frosty and T. Roosevelt 26
It's a bluish b/w with additional "raindrops"

And I always loved the mirroring Salvador 84 lens and to give it a twist with the Louis XIV infrared which gave me this:

Do you all have these? Other combinations welcome …

They are both fantastic! Isn’t it amazing how some pieces work together and you don’t know until you see it. Gorgeous here!
Thanks!
Absolutely! I would never have thought to mix those films/lenses.

“Long View” / 35’ polar bear made out of car hoods. Installed this weekend during Santa Fe’s forward looking Interplanetary Festival.
Frosty / TR

“The car hoods encode the past and bring it to the future. We collect this material to tell a story. We take these markers representing a set of values and we use them to tell a story about a different set of values and possibly, a different future.

“Long View” is a term used to describe polar bear behavior in the wild. Polar bears stand up to look far into the distance, into the future. We believe animals have a message. The polar bear’s message to us is to take the long view. We made this artwork so people can hear the polar bear’s message and become her ally.”
