Are you a Hipstamatic Wiz?

Wow, Hipstamatic can do that? This is a great place for discovery and to try new things and see what can be done and surprises that result. We love to see your attempts, whatever they might be. Ask a question and there’s always useful tips from the seasoned Hipstas that can take your images to the next level.

The Main Rule is simple:

1) The only apps that may be used in this Challenge are either an ordinary phone camera (i.e. with no effects) and Hipstamatic depending on what the winner decides.

The actual Hipstamatic Challenge will be decided by the winner...

The winner chooses 2 Hipstamatic Paks for the week. They can then decide on any restrictions but this is optional.

Last entries before midnight UK time on Saturday 23rd March 2019. Judging will take place on Sunday 24th March 2019 or soon thereafter.

Please also see the general Mobitog Rules HERE

WINNER: JillyG

CHALLENGE:
Foxy Lens + Dreamy Film
Mumtaz Lens + Aristotle Film
Or any combo of these paks.

Okay. Just to establish who has what - does everyone have Foxy Lens and Dreamy film? And Mumtaz Lens and Aristotle Film?
I say we go for it... there will probably be someone who doesn’t have one of the films/lenses but then they might be motivated to get it for the challenge. :D

I have foxy and dreamy, but not the other 2.

I could choose others, but there’s always the possibility that someone won’t have any others that I choose.:(

This is amazing... so beautiful! :inlove:
Thanks! I drove over there yesterday morning. I wasn’t sure which side of the road it was on, and as luck would have it, it was on the east side so I could only get side shots. I drove around for another couple of hours in the rural areas surrounding San Ysidro and was able to take a straight on shot without blinding sun on my way home.

Is it a bug or is it a feature?

Aristotle is not just a black and white film. Here’s a link to an article Eric Rozen wrote about “Aristotle’s magic wand.” Adjust the vibrancy slider and you will find surprising results. The effect varies depending on the lens you use. Using a flash may negate the effect.

Hipstamatic briefly corrected the “bug”, but the outcry from users convinced them that it was indeed a “feature” and in a subsequent update they brought it back.
