I couldn’t resist capturing this Peony in a box of other peonies sitting on the grass waiting to be placed in a display.

The seawater is up to my knees - so clear it looks only an inch deep.

I love the diamonds of light on the water. It’s about 9am high summer last year, a time when just about the only place you’ll find anything green is underwater.

Wow....that is so beautiful. The water is so clear if it wasn’t for the ripples you wouldn’t know there was water!

In Heflin, AL, there is a Tasty Freeze that is almost legendary. No matter how many times we go into Alabama we make sure to head home along Hwy 78...
That little certificate in the upper right. One sections reads “Saved enough water to supply 36 homes for a year.” That’s pretty impressive!

This instantly reminds me of being that red head and being in Bermuda at a cottage on the beach for a holiday when I was around 9 years old. Playing on the beach for a few hours on a completely overcast day gave me such a sunburn I had to be indoors lying on my stomach for the next 2 days. I had large blisters, about 1.5 inches around and 1 inch high, all over my upper back and arms. My mother gently daubed cold tea and vinegar on my sunburn with a teabag. It worked quite well. Being from a northern climate we were completely inexperienced about the tropical sun. After that I had a new batch of freckles.

I really like the light patterns projected on the bottom.
