Well hello there beauties!!
Well hello there beauties!!
Brilliant. Chickens are always so photogenic. I love that the big chicken is out of focus and the sharp ones are peeping through the door.
Beautiful images Leslie. Superb editing to give both an opulent feel.View attachment 112849 View attachment 112851 Russian Orthodox Church interior in Anadyr, Russia

Great chook pics!
I'm here, just need to get up. Maybe .Another week has come to an end, and now it’s time for terse Ted to choose his faves! Whenever you’re ready, Ted, no rush.... I know it’s still early in Cali.
Lots to choose from again this week Ted, good choices thoughI had three candidates for first and struggled to choose just one among them. Fortunately, in a way, all three were from rizole, who continues to show us all how it's done. In the end, I decided:
First goes to rizole's glistening, super-slimy macro "Going in" (just edging out his "Inside Brown's bookshop" and "Looking in from the outside," both of which met the theme in unexpected ways):
Second goes to sinnerjohn's "Inside where Daenerys keeps her Dragons" (in Split, Croatia, for those of you keeping track):
Third is a tie between deepop and deepop with "The Acension" and "Inside the garden at Millennium Park":
blood red. Very appropriate for the cardiologist.Inside the waiting room (at the cardiologist)

I'm still having trouble wrapping my mind around the winning shot. (Limbless Alien Eating Celery.)(An aside - Rizole's chickens also look quite alien.) Congrats to Rizole and John. Thanks for the 3rd place tie.I had three candidates for first and struggled to choose just one among them. Giving this a go at my sisters who has a husband that pours liquid animal fats down the drain that solidify when they cool. We thought bicarb and vinegar might be an easier option than getting a new husband in the first instance.Bicarb & vinegar. Cup of both every month or two and your drains will never clog up (less’n you do something really daft) <— priceless wisdom of an old plumber. I’ve never had a blocked sink or bath or nuthin. *I’m a believer...*
