Red moons

image.jpeg

Original photo of moon rising over the Red Sea courtesy Diana. Masked in Union to make the moon more round. And added a couple more bcs too many red moons is never enough.

Edit: hm I keep asking Pixite for a grid in Union. . . This is my second post of the image - last one I realised the top moon was too close to the, er, top. Now I see they're not exactly centered.. Re-title - Leaning Tower of Moons

That's moons for you, everchanging, refusing to stay put. And what about that almost-cat-face in the moons?

The Lawn.
As seen through a propagator and a macro lens by my old Desire S. This suffered from a colour cast common (it turns out) in small digital lens/sensor setups under certain lighting conditions. I was disappointed at first as I bought the phone for the camera which had good reviews. Once I got over that I exploited the defect and hammered the images with snapseed to turn the false colour up to 11. Lot's of ambiance, saturation, structure and some high def.

Great idea, Jilly! What did you use for the windmilling-images?

I took photos of all the Willow pattern crockery where we're staying on holiday and overlaid them in Union. Then into iColorama for the globe. The background was the circular image made into a brush in iColorama.
