Morning all...

many thanks sinnerjohn

this weeks theme... oft-times this can be a chaotic season... so the theme for this week is ‘Tranquillity amongst the chaos’

Merry Christmas one and all... wishing you the very best of times for the Christmas season.
Great theme Steve. Merry Christmas to you too.

I'll open with spring rolls. It's that time of year when we use up the store cupboard leftovers and take time and space to make meals there's usually not enough of either for in our day to day lives.

Oooh, what’s that going to be?
Roasted root vegetables with rosemary, garlic, and balsamic vinegar. You have to give the rutabagas (upper left) a head start because they take longer.

It goes with pot roast slow-cooked in red wine, balsamic vinegar, and cranberry sauce. It all ends with a cheesecake that's guaranteed to make everyone forget any errors that came before.
