It turns out I spend quite a bit of time looking up. Fotheringhay church. I don’t think that you can see it in this photo, but there are lots of gargoyles around each sticky-up bit (an architectural term actually :mobibabe: ).
No edits.

Cue TomHH Tom‘s and deepop David’s fantastic architecture shots, and flying pigeons. sdimbour Sandra’s Paris Metro shots (I’ve been on your 365 Sandra, so I know there are some there!! ). I predict a riot!

Ridiculous to find this doughnut shop after seeing the “look up” category. Down town Halifax, before heading to the airport to end our trip. And bonus mannequin.

just so we’re all on the same page, my partner did NOT look up ... when I showed her the picture she was properly abashed at missing it.

My daughter & I have a Christmas tradition dating back to her childhood where we lie on the floor with our heads under the Christmas tree looking up. I enjoy the different perspective on an otherwise familiar subject. This year we weren't able to be together at Christmas and I forgot all about lying under the tree. Perhaps it also had to do with this being the first year in my life I have not had a real Christmas tree. The artificial tree is nice enough but it doesn‘t have the interesting natural details a real tree has.
