iPhone XS + Snapseed.

I think we have enough to judge with. Is it me as judge who declares the thread is closed to new entries? I can use a big colourful font if needed :)

I was just invited out for a walk anyway, usually takes us 2 1/2 hours or so. So I’ll hold off in case there’s any last minute entries in the next few hours

As RoseCat Catherine is busy getting ready to move into her Tiny House On Wheels, I declare this #220 MCC CLOSED. Over to you Nagaisgich Carmel for the judging.

Ok I’ll be able to look through everything and make my picks later this morning

Just to explain my process a little: since in essence there were four themes I tried to feel the most profound depiction of the element regardless which element it was. I hoped by that method to avoid ending up with just the most dramatic photos (they do stand out!)

I ended up with an earth, a water and a fire. My honourable mention is a combo that includes wind (air/sky) and is on the dramatic side.

that’s the teaser. I’ll post the winners within an hour once I feel it’s no longer too early to pull out my laptop.

Here we go:

NickLeon Nick - I love the vibrant colour of the field in this shot. Rich golden brown, as pretty as brown sugar. the tracks lead into the unknown, especially considering the very faint circular track to the left. Is it the beginning of a crop circle. the frame, which I normally am not a fan of, really highlights the the meaning of tracks in a field.

rizole Rizole - I love simple playfulness. This kind of photo is both freaky and fun

sinnerjohn John - And this photo caught my eye for the colour and the two types of Fire. The peppers were dried in heat and they contain heat.

Errrm, thank you Carmel. Did Nick’s image win? I’ve put his image in, but I’m not sure.

Congratulations to NickLeon Nick - Carmel has chosen your tracks as the winner of this MCC. It’s a country scene that is not often seen (too many seens?) by too many, but this lockdown has seen (I’m just going for it!) lots more people out and about in the country. I presume this is somewhere near you is it? Well done to rizole for second, sinnerjohn John for third and to Glasshousebc Steve for his HM. Fantastic images every one! Great work all. Now I’m off to the Gallery with Definitely Earth. I hope it doesn’t make a mess.
