This lovely boy is a medical assist dog: I met him on the bus on the way home from work tonight. I know youre not allowed to touch or talk to these dogs, but I thought it was okay to smile at him briefly. I think he gave me a doggie smile back.
iPad native cam. SnapSeed (spot the Glamour Glow :)) and Union to repair an issue with the front seat :alien:

Ahhh, what a gorgeous picture and what a gorgeous dog. He looks a bit sad.

Bush is a ceoanthus, AKA California lilac or wild lilac even though it's not a real lilac, also AKA soap bush. Ultra common for freeway borders in California.

Lovely Ted. As I said before, you are the droplets king. Our ceanothus is getting ready to flower - about a month earlier than it should.

And you can send me dead flowers every morning
Send me dead flowers by the mail
Send me dead flowers to my wedding
And I won't forget to put roses on your grave.

The Rolling Stones! I had to look it up I'm sorry to confess. Lovely depiction and processing.

Ooh I say! Little Shop of Horrors springs to mind. Not that it's not lovely and the processing is gorgeous, but ... Don't go getting too close and sniffing it will you?

I've sniffed the hell out of it! It has a lovely subtle perfume. And I think you have to go to a bit of trouble to get to the mind-altering properties (?)

Wow, more shots as it unfolds, please!

That's it unfolded, Ted - this side shot taken at same time. When the tree (branch) is bigger/longer the trumpet-shaped flowers will hang. But that's it, and the flower is already fading (40C the other day, not much reason to hang around).

I've repix'd out the unattractive fence - the tree is still in a pot while I find out where it wants to live.

I guess I'd never seen the inside of the bell before. Neat.
