Love this. The back turned, the light, texture of the floor. We are a one cat family for the first time in 40 odd years. Your new kitties are making me think. And my shadow..

Love this. It’s like an abstract river.
What? Eh? Well that came out of left field for me. Thank you so much. It’s been a funny old week - of good things and not quite so good things, and this is definitely in the “good things“ category. Well done to chineezguy Michael and Starzee Star, who join me on the podium, and great work from the HMs too. And now I must think of a theme. Back soon.First goes to JillyG for her painterly "Flower Study 1" with its soft colors and wistful mood.
Second goes to chineezguy for the Aberdam bicycle -- dramatic colors beautifully captured and a fine composition on top of that.
Third goes to Starzee for "The Refuge on a Foggy Morning." Even though the sun is blown out here, that suits the foggy mood (and I'm always out shooting whenever we have a day like this here).
HMs to WOTANICUS for "Microcosm" (I keep looking for a mouse with a tiny jackhammer) and to rizole for his handsome black cats and his spiderweb.
Congrats JillyG Jilly - such a lovely image…well deserved! Kudos and high fives to chineezguy Michael (love that rich, inky black), Starzee Star (I live for foggy moments like these ), WOTANICUS Bill and rizole!First goes to JillyG for her painterly "Flower Study 1" with its soft colors and wistful mood.
