Twin Lakes Beach
Every now and then, when the sand shifts, these broken piers show up. They're the remainder of a horse-drawn trolley track that went from around the Santa Cruz wharf to around the Capitola wharf to the south, straight across the beach.

It is that. Plus the question of who runs a tramway across a beach?
Obviously someone looking for temporary passage.
Seems like a lot of work to build something that’s going to get sucked into the depths. Are the pylons(?) made of wood or stone?
