This round ended with 24 images (not counting 7 from me), so I'd like to start off by awarding Honorable Mentions to everyone who managed to rouse themselves from the gloomy weather to join in. Congrats and thanks to you all. As for the podium spots:

First goes to lkbside for "Glass blowing." The molten orange works great against the pale blues in the rest of the image, and the framing reduces the image to the essentials -- hands, mold, molten glass.

Second goes to littledogslaughed for "Haint Protection." I think any one of us would have stopped to take a picture of the blue bottle tree, but would we have thought to include the little dog on the step? The combination of the two, along with the brick column, gives the image something extra for me. (Do those bottles bang on the bricks and each other in the wind?)

Third is a tie between Jacosta's untitled sunset and RoseCat's Rainier Brewery, very different but both studies in striking colors.

Thanks! Appreciate the honor! Wonderful photos posted by everyone.

Will start thinking about a potential theme.
