So this is not like me at all, to commit to such a long-term project. ;) However, two things persuaded me to dip a toe into this year's Project 52, firstly the 'relaxed' pace - I think I can handle a picture a week. Secondly the discussion about using a single app for the project. I've been looking for a project for this app for some time and I thought this might be the ideal opportunity.

Thus, with further ado, I launch my Project 52 featuring - Polamatic. In keeping with the old-school instant film style of this app I'm going to try and produce a 'scrapbook' of the year (so don't look for any well-composed, inspirational images here, people :) ). No promises about staying the course, either, but let's see how it goes.

Herewith my first offering, shot with iPhone 6 Plus and Polamatic using filter F1 and frame B3.

So far very impressed but still exploring its potential so I won't make a final judgement just yet. It's certainly a better quality than I was expecting.

Taken with an iPhone 5 using Polamatic. Shows my iPhone 6 Plus running Hipstamatic mounted in my new Shoulderpod S1. Complicated, ain't it? :D

Congrats on the new toy! :)
Had not heard of the ShoulderPod so went and looked. Looks really well made and heavy duty compared to most of them.

It is really well made. The hand grip is metal and adds a real solid feel to it, not be mention balance. It's probably the best adaptor I've seen for the iPhone 6 Plus yet.

Hi Richard, where did you get your Shoulderpod from? I've a trip planned for the UK in May and might get one then. Also, I have small hands so I wondered if I would find it bulky?

Ok, first things first. I got it direct from the makers (in Spain). They were cheaper than Amazon! Delivery to the UK took about four days. Check out their website.

Secondly I don't think you will have any trouble holding it. The grip is about an inch in diameter and screws off easily so that it can be mounted onto a tripod or other support. It's very versatile. Let me know if you have any further questions.
