They are touted to have healthy effects by changing damaging positive ions (imbalance caused by electronics in our lives) into healthier negative ions found in higher ratios in nature...I bought one, then bought 3 more. I don't know what the science is, but regardless of what Dr. Weil says, the air quality in my home changed when I added these Himalayan Salt Lamps into my home. I keep them on whenever my house is closed up.

I keep vacillating on whether to get one... but I'm leaning in the "yes" direction.

I love Dr. Weil, but have been rather disheartened since he's gone so commercial with his online store. I dunno...we all have to earn a living, I guess?

Then after RollWorld, another run through TaDaa to really distort from photo quality into a painterly quality to see what would happen...I quite like it :)
