Week 22

Last year there were six black tulips...this year, only this one.
iPhone 7 Plus photo, native camera app using portrait setting.

Week 24

This was edited using one of the ‘destroyed’ formulas in Mextures.

Week 25

This lovely Wisteria is courtesy of my faerie-godmother. She calls me every year when it blooms so I can come experience it and try to capture its glory with a camera. I have yet to do it justice. Taken with iPhone 7 Plus, edited in Lightroom.

floral gorgeousness :inlove:

It would be hard for me to think of flowering things I like better than tulips and wisteria (as much as, sure - but not better than)

Week 40
DB7AA924-4232-461A-B92B-6FF119D5E057.jpeg

unedited iPhone 7 Plus, native camera app. COVID-19 ghost town. We’ve lost far too many small businesses here. I’m fairly certain our small town is not alone in suffering the financial crisis this pandemic has shown us.

Week 42
3F79F390-0D57-4B83-BC70-D2A76CBFF4E8.jpeg

iphone7+ native camera app...edited for tonal quality in Snapseed & Lightroom mobile. It. Gets harder every week to find something interesting to photograph...my sanctuary is starting to feel more like a prison. :kissing:

A gloomy Saturday drive through Amish country yielded a few breaks in the cloud cover providing some amazing photo opportunities. Edited in Snapseed.

It doesn’t look like much....but...right where that wave is crashing through the railing is where I usually stand to photograph the pier and lighthouse. Not yesterday! No one was on the pier or they’d have been swept off and battered about. The force of the waves could be felt through a vibration in the ground. Only the truly dedicated got out of their cars to take pics. I opened my window 2-3 inches just to expose the camera lens of my iPhone 7 Plus and got sand all over my dashboard, in my hair, the left side of my face got a derm-abrasion treatment courtesy of Mother Nature (as in I got sand blasted). The brave souls who walked into the sand blaster wore hats, scarves over their faces and eye protection. My glasses were not protective enough...I needed diving goggles. So...I stayed in my car and only braved the force of the wind driven sand through a few inch gap. Oh! Edited slightly in the native app to make it a little clearer by dropping low tones a little further and increasing black level slightly.

Unedited iPhone 12 Pro Max photo...first sunset photo with my shiny, new baby. Omg...I love the cameras on this phone. I love the square sides (like my first iPhone). Really looking forward to playing with this!

Week 47
934BD9E3-4E50-457F-BF1C-5ADDC68C1AEC.png

iPhone 12 Pro Max; edited in Lightroom mobile to strengthen purple tones that were already there; then ran it through SkyLab to add the moon & setting sun. The green bits were a side effect of LR mobile....decided to leave them in to show one of the pitfalls of over-editing.

Week 49
A25A6DD1-63BA-4584-ACCD-FB8BCA87C5BD.jpeg

Taken with iPhone 12 Pro Max. Cropped in native app. It is still so very odd to go into town and not have it bustling with cars and pedestrians. This town is usually hopping, but. Now it feels more like a ghost town.
