You are too kind. If you look around, rizole or TomHH or even young ubbyisis have better moon shots than this. I think you need top of the range lenses plus extras and at least a tripod. Mine is still just a dot

Even then I'm dissatisfied with the results. I've been looking at YouTube vids on mobile moon shots and even with some other techniques I've not tried they don't come out significantly better than I've achieved. The equipment just isn't up to the job yet imo.

HDR one of those love it or hate it things. I was messing with Simply HDR that I think Ann (?) mentioned was going free, I already had it from last time it was free, but still. I kind of like it sometimes and also hate it

I like the batshit.
I like a bit of HDR. The problem for me is the poor handling of high contrast boundaries where you end up with light and dark banding. Gets on my nerves and I spend far too much time having to correct for it.

Spent a few hours wandering around the National Memorial Arboretum today. Images are as taken, unedited etc. Mostly other peoples work so I'll probably never enter them into challenges etc.
