As I started with a family photo 365 days ago I thought I'd finish with one.
My in-laws have been married 40 years today and we had a little party to celebrate.
Alan is nearly 90 and has not been well, but he enjoyed seeing family and friends.
And a bonus black and white taken on a walk this morning as my 365 was originally going to be mainly b/w. Partial failure there then

So today is the first day in a whole year where I don't HAVE to take a photo!
My chosen interpretation of a 365 was the more traditional take, edit and post on that day each day. I know others have done it differently and that's fine, but it wasn't my way.
The idea was a years documentary of my life I guess and that's what you got. Looking back at the gallery Rog so kindly put together, I see a lot of kids, grand kids and pets, things that are important in my life.
The toughest part was the two winter ends as I work full time. So the journey to work in the dark, work not exactly full of inspiring things to shoot and then the journey home in the dark, didn't make things easy.
I'll still make images every day of course, of which some will end up in the colour and b/w weekly challenges.
Which if you think about it is like two 52's running side by side and the colour is usually themed, so a different 'challenge' each week is presented. So I'll not be without a weekly challenge.
Summing up I'd say I'm glad I did it, its was sometimes frustrating, but still a worthwhile experience. I'm looking forward to seeing what the 2018 365's produce.
