Do you get Monarch butterflies there for the milkweed? We're on the western migration path, so they used to show up in hordes come October or so but fewer the past several years.
Yes. The Montezuma Wildlife Refuge has planted a bunch of milkweed for that exact reason. Monarchs are in decline around here. Several of the other preserves in the area have done the same. And every summer they have workshops for folks who want to learn how to do their part.Do you get Monarch butterflies there for the milkweed?
