Quite a good band at Lunkenheimer’s. Unfortunately, it was chilly outside so we opted to sit inside. The ceiling you see above the band is rusted corrugated metal..cool to look at but horrible for sound. We sat behind the wall and peered through the window at the band.

On the way back from our photo club, my friend and I stopped at the Halloween store. It’ only open for a couple of months, but it’s great fun.

We visited a DIY hobby shop the other day. Full of Halloween thingies. The product that caught my attention were eye lenses of all kinds of colours and styles. Like AI but not AI :D I'm happy we didn't have Linus with us. He would have insisted of buying a bunch of lenses :geek:
 
I do love Halloween, not so much for decorating anymore. But when the kids were home we went crazy.

The last show of the year. “A Chorus Line” Of course, you aren’t’ allowed photos during the production so this is the stage. It was a mirror.

We took a tour of the Case Lab where Theodore Case and and Earl Sponable developed the sound on film technique called Movietone. Yup, right here in little old Auburn. It was quite interesting. Course this omage has nothing to do with talkies.

Then we walked next door to the Shweinfurth Museum of Art to see the members exhibit. I do have a piece in the show, but liked the shadow play on this one.

In this last week we see hundreds of spider webs during our walk. Oddly we never see any spiders. I‘m wondering if I should begin freaking out. Are the massing together?

I saw on FB the lkbside Leslie had one last weekend. I don’t know how the ordering worked in Europe but I had to wait until 9/15 at 8am pacific time. Im assuming that was true of everyone in the US. Wonder how they shipped them?

We drove to the Apple Store in Stockholm on the release day Sept 22nd. Only to find a looong line of people waiting to get in. The Apple staff interviewed us all about what we planned to buy so that we could get faster help once we were first in line. It appeared the Max Pros had sold out immediately! And I noted that almost everyone in the long line had come to grab one. We were there to buy new watches too so we waited patiently halfanhour and got in to get our watches. I hadn’t decided for sure if I should buy a phone or not, but I got so excited waiting in line that I ordered one in the virtual Apple Store :rolleyes::facepalm:

Mine arrived on the 22nd at home. We were in NY. I had briefly considered picking it up there. The line was still wrapping around the block and then through mazes at 3 pm.

I haven’t been to the physical Apple Store in several years. It’s at Destiny Mall. It’s just too cavernous for this small town lady.
