Mobi365 Ubbyisis’ Project 365 - 2022

Day 138 - May 18th - Just some ordinary flowers from our garden

Today we’ve had real summer. I have had my devices in Do-not-disturb-mode and we have just been enjoying the sun and the warmth. And our garden. Tomorrow summer will be over for this time. Perhaps we should see today as an appetizer :)

Wowza, just look at all those cowslips! :inlove:

Day 139 - May 19th - A slight misunderstanding :)

Today DH bought waveformed plastic for covering part of the outdoor kitchen he’s working on. As soon as he got ready to do the job a beautiful diving beetle landed on the plastic. We’re pretty sure it thought he’d found a perfect little pond as the material look a bit like water withe waves and everything :D

Lightroom mobile - or is it Lightroom for iPad. I didn’t know there was a difference until I saw a discussion about it in a thread here somewhere recently

Day 140 - May 20th - The forecasts were just totally wrong

Once again finally the day had come for us to get the rain we need so badly. It should have started late yesterday evening. When I got up this morning there was no sign of rain. We thought it should come later and went to town as planned. When we got home, still no rain. Instead the apps said it was going to rain the whole afternoon. It hasn’t. It’s a lovely evening here at 18:30. Birds are singing and the Noisy Neighbour hasn’t started his excavator yet

Finally! They are everywhere now, except we don’t have them in our garden.

Yes, we have had a lot of rain lately. It looks so lovely and tranquil (well, when the neighbours aren’t around!).

We were lucky. The neighbours were partying with other neighbours. They got quite noisy as the hours passed by, but nothing in comparison to the excavator  We could even here the birds singing :)

Day 141 - May 21st - Cows are nicer than humans  ;)

My walks are more enjoyable now that the cows are out in the fields. Before Noisy Neighbours built their house it was a pasture there with beautiful cows who often ere out even in wintertime. Those were the days

Day 143 - May 23rd - The day ended up in total blur :)

Well it started fine with a lovely walk in the warm sunshine. But when I came home I got a phone call. Linus had vomited twice and that evil nurse had once again decided he must be incarcerated for a week. And DH had gone fishing  Well finally DH came home and we rushed to town and liberated Linus. Now he’s here with us. Hasn’t vomited at all and is in good mood. But tired and his temp is high. I try not to get too worried.

Agh re. Linus. But still, now you’ve got him home you can keep an eye on him. Love the edits.

Day 144 - May 24th - Old place

This is the same place as on the third pic from yesterday. It’s part of an area which is used as pasture now, but there are traces of ancient graves and there have also been two farms there. Nothing left of the houses but you can see where the houses stood if you study the ground closely. You can also see the rests of the road that crossed the area long ago. I pass this on my daily walks and right now when the oaks just got green it’s a real paradise

Shot this morning. Managed to get a walk before DH left for work

Day 145 - May 25th - Unexpected family staycation

Linus is still here with us. I have spent hours debating with the persons in charge for homes for people with special needs and as they insists that one single vomit is enough for one week of “incarceration” we think he’s better off here with us. Apart from that we’re having a great time

Linus seems to be pondering the purchase of a barbecue.

Is Linus better today Eva?
Thanks Jen :) He was much better yesterday. And he seems OK today. Only that he woke up with nausea so the washing machine is working hard again;) Could be his chronic gastro problems that have decided to show up again. He’s been better from that the last year. We’ll try to get an appointment with his doctor if this continues. Only that is almost impossible getting appointments with doctors nowadays:(

Hope you don’t need to see his doctor in the end!

Day 149 - May 29th - Mother and child

It’s Mother’s Day in Sweden today, so these pics of an European tree sparrow chick being fed by his mum just outside my kitchen window are perfect for today’s posting. I had to use a lot of digital zoom so I used iColorama to “beautify” them. I just posted a short video clip of them on my Insta if you want to see more of them.
