Day 45 - February 14th - This is going to be a long boring bad day

Day 46 - February 15th - It’s turning into a daily habit

Another dull and boring day. But suddenly I found two tees we’d bought for Linus a few weeks ago and then forgotten them. And he also was in “urgent need” of a new trash can for his kitchen So off we went with coffee, trash can and tees. Had a great time together as always. Even the sky cleared up when we were on our way back home

Day 48 - February 17th - Apartments with a view…

At least in one direction. In the opposite direction Uppsala’s hugest shopping mall is just a few yards away. They have built many houses around the mall in the last few years. I like shopping, but it gives me creepy feelings converting shopping malls into people’s living room. Money, money, money - do you remeber that ABBA hit from 1976

Day 50 - February 19th - There is hope

We’ll have to wait for a long time yet, but here’s a small sign of spring

Day 51 - February 20th - The ghost and the moon

Walking around the house like a zombie since 3 am. 2h15m of sleep must be my all-time-low. I thought Mr Sandman would return but he went off to the moon I’ve tried to get him back. No luck this far

experimental photos. The moon is visible from our south-facing windows. The cam captures the moon but also me and the rooms reflected in the window glass

I‘ve been playing around a bit with the first one, but I don’t know what. My brain is invaded by the zombie

Day 51 - February 20th - The ghost and the moon

Walking around the house like a zombie since 3 am. 2h15m of sleep must be my all-time-low. I thought Mr Sandman would return but he went off to the moon I’ve tried to get him back. No luck this far

Thanks The zombie gave up at sunrise - perhaps it was a vampire Anyhow I managed to sleep to and fro until 11. We’ve had a beautiful sunny day just the two of us and the zombie walk is like a dream.

What extremes! The weather is just mad at the moment. We’ve had no winter to speak of. At this rate, we’ll go straight from Autumn to Spring with nothing in the middle.

Day 53 - February 22nd - After the snow storm

I think it was Mr Franklin who visited Sweden yesterday. Wind and snow for about 24 hours. When I got up it was still very windy, but at noon it calmed down, the sun showed up and the temperature began to fall very rapidly. On Thursday we’ll have rain so I guess the roads will be just for skaters once again. We were so happy that most of the ice was gone

Our next snow event is due Thursday-Friday. Today’s 49ºF(9ºC) will turn to 17ºF (-13ºC). What a difference a day makes……
