Day 257 - September 14th - Hardy

They start selling hardy chrysanthemums in late summer, but I refuse to buy any until I’ve reached the stage of acceptance over the end of summer. We’ve bought several recently

Day 258 - September 15th - Mayday :zip:

I don’t know what you call the Prunus Padus - in Swedish it’s “hägg”. It blooms with white flowers in the early summer / late spring. A very distinct scent that we up here associate with the long awaited arrival of summer. According to Wikipedia one of its’ names in English speaking countries is “Mayday tree”. A very suitable name for today’s post. I passed these on a deforestation area on my daily walk this morning. Like red flames reaching up from the more and more brown vegetation. Soon the red leaves will get brown and fall. I feels like yesterday I passed by in the beginning of June inhaling the scent from the white innocent flowers. I wish I could turn back time

I love plants that are beautiful/change throughout the seasons…

Day 264 - September 21st - Autumn light

It was just ONE degree when we went to bed last night so we expected a frosty morning. But I got a nice surprise as we had 4 degrees when I got up and not a sign of frost on the grass. Bright sunny day today.

Day 265 - September 22nd - Bad timing

It’s been such a fantastic day weatherwise from early morning until sunset right now. Of all days this was the day we booked in a craftsman to come over for fixing our problem with no hot water. It was more complicated than he thought, so he was here in intervals until late afternoon. And coming back early tomorrow. Nice guy, but I’d rather spent the day without his company. I got my daily walk at least so it wasn’t a totally wasted day.

The tree images are really nice.

Day 266 - September 23rd - Cosmos bipinnatus :)

I don’t know what you call them, but according to Wikipedia it’s Garden cosmos or Mexican aster. We call the Rosenskära. Shot these photos at sunrise before the craftsman turned up. When he left we took a trip to Uppsala and when we got home I crashed in Linus’ room. When I woke up this afternoon I thought it was a new day

I did a quick edit with these as I have planned to do important stuff like installing an external drive and take care of our bills.
Pixelmator Photo. Chose a preset and then finetuned a tiny bit
