Day 64 - March 4th - Oh no

Do you remember the Swedish word “pissväder” from one of my previous posts this year? Well, today we really have that kind of weather. Could even call it worse things... I’m happy it’s almost dark outside now ;)

Yes, I remember that too. Horrible weather. That poor flamingo looks really out of place at the moment. I can’t wait for a photo when it’s in glorious sunshine.

If the forecasts are correct we’ll have sunshine on Friday, but after that the piss will return. I’ll pass on your sympathy to Pingo Flamingo (that’s what we call him/her :D )

Day 66 - March 6th - Sunset instead of swans :D

Sunshine today :) And it’s the time of the year that migrating swans and geese are passing by in large numbers. Like big ploughs in the sky. You can hear the distant sound of them especially in the at sunrise and sunset. And if you’re lucky you also get to see them. This evening we went to a perfect spotting place - or so we thought;) We didn’t even hear any. So I gave up and just took a shot of the sunset and did an experimental edit in Focos and Snapseed.

Gorgeous edit. It just means that you’ll have to go back and try again. :D

Silly swans! :D They probably forgot to do their feathers so didn’t want their reputation ruined
Nice shot anyway!

Day 68 - March 8th - Waiting for the skylark ;)

It’s time for the skylarks to arrive here. It should be any day now. I thought I would hear them on today’s walk, especially as we have a strong wind from the south. But unfortunately it seems I’ll have to wait a few more days.

Shot with iPhone 11.... Hmmm - I couldn’t stand it anymore and without thinking too much I just bought a basic 11 yesterday. For the first time in 6 months I can shoot more than one photo without having to restart the phone. I really should have “punished” Apple for not having fixed my problems with my X and bought a Galaxy instead, but Apple wouldn't give a damn if they knew and I would have lost compatibility with the rest of my devices. Perhaps it was foolish of me, but I feel such a relief not spending the day cursing and swearing and fixing crashes. If I later decide to buy a flagship model my DH will inheritate this one

Great news. What a relief.

Day 69 - March 9th - Waiting for the spring flowers ;)

We have an ”almost-spring-day” here with temperatures close to 10 degrees, but all I want to do is sleep :alien: Good news is I heard the skylark this morning:) Now I want to set a check mark on “första blåsipporna” = the first anemone hepaticas (liverwort). I saw on old photos that they had burst today six years ago. I hope they will come out this week!
